Our 5-day art painting holidays in the UK are residential experiences designed to give artists time, structure and expert guidance to develop their landscape painting. Based in the Peak District, each painting holiday begins with a relaxed Sunday afternoon arrival, with welcome drinks and time to settle in before the evening meal. From Monday to Thursday, participants spend full days painting en plein air in carefully chosen countryside locations. When weather conditions are less favourable, painting takes place in a bright studio space with plenty of natural light. Tuition focuses on working with oil painting, using palette knife and brush, supported by demonstrations and individual guidance throughout the day.
