Our weekend painting retreats in the UK offer a concentrated and immersive art painting holiday experience for artists looking to develop their landscape painting over a shorter period of time. Set in the Peak District, each weekend retreat includes 3–4 nights’ accommodation and two full days of painting, providing a relaxed yet focused environment in which to work. Arrival takes place on Friday afternoon, with a warm drinks welcome, time to settle into accommodation, and a catered evening meal to begin the retreat.
Saturday and Sunday are fully tutored plein air painting days. After breakfast each morning, the group travels to carefully chosen countryside locations, aiming to begin painting by mid-morning. Each day includes a structured morning and afternoon painting…
